Thematic Maps use data to portray a subject for a specific reason. Geographic area is a theme for these kinds of maps. City, state, nation, economic are all ideas reflected in them .This maps shows the Election of President hopefuls Bush vs. Kerry from 2004. Each state is a color based on their political stance.
