Dot Distribution Maps

The map shows where participants counted birds in a year period of '00-'01.
Dot Distribution maps portray quantitative data as a dot, which represents a number.  They are used to demonstrate populations and to show a particular theme connected with a specific geographic area.  These maps show physical, social, political, cultural, economic, agricultural or any other aspect of a city, state, region, nation or continent.  They are often referred to as graphic essays.
